Blueprint for Peace

Bringing Kalamazoo together so everyone can feel and be safe.

Kalamazoo’s roadmap for addressing root causes of violence.

Our report outlines actionable steps to reduce violence and unite groups already doing this urgent work. Kalamazoo has funding and assets available that, when strategically applied, can be expanded to meet these needs. To support transparency and accountability, we also share monthly incident reports built through data-sharing partnerships with local agencies.

A Kalamazoo where everyone experiences safety and freedom.

With evidence-informed practice and full community engagement, we can create achievable solutions based on the assets we already hold. In the words of Reggie Moore, coordinator for Milwaukee’s Blueprint for Peace, “Every system, every role, every organization and institution … Everybody has a role to play.”
